Danny Willett is having a terrific season. Top 6 at the Open, Irish open, WGC Cadillac Match play. Two victories on the European tour this year in cluding the European Masters. Currently 2nd in the Race to Dubai. Fresh from a four week break I expect Willett to continue where he left off.
Cabrera-Bello finish t-7 at the KLM last week. It goes well with his 5th place at the French Open and his T-11 at the BMW International. T-4 at the Irish Open and 2nd at the Lyoness Open. Cabrera-Bello is finding form in the later part of the season. An impressive player who could push into the top 5.
David Howell came 2nd here last year and will be pushing for one better this week. 5 top 5's on the European Tour this year and pushing for his first victory of the season. Howell comes into this following a T-12 at the KLM. At 33-1 the odds seem very good for the punter who goes for him.
Morrison may be stuttering of late but at 66-1 this unpredictable player could shine. Don't forget that he has won the Spanish Open this year. Add to that his 2nd place finish at the French Open. The only question regarding Morrison is which one will turn up?
Brooks will still be remembered for his T-7th at the Scottish Open and rightfully so. 250/1 is a long shot but this young player will come good in the future. It has to start somewhere so why not in Italy? Could be a very good Each way bet.
Result: Danny Willet coming T-3 and only one shot away from joining the Play-off. Golf hacker gets his E/W. Not great but can't really grumble either.
