He may have gone AWOL for a while but our golf betting guru is back and eager to make amends for his absence. He didn’t tell us where he went (possibly had to leave the country for a bit to stay low) but we have received his latest bets.

As always, we are more than happy to share them all with you.
Stephen Dodd: 13/2 (BoyleSports)
Last year the Welshman lifted the trophy to claim the first European Senior Masters title. Playing the same course again at the Forest of Arden, It is easy to see why he is one of the favourites. He hasn’t been out of the top 10 in his last six StaySure Tour tournaments and could lift the title here again.
Jarmo Sandelin 20/1 (BoyleSports)
Two top 10 finishes in a row on the tour for the Swede has made him one of the favourites this year. He knows this course and performed well in difficult conditions to finish fourth. Can he go a couple better this year? 20/1 is the price to find out.
Philip Golding 33/1 (BoyleSports)
A winner on the StaySure Tour this season, Golding should never be avoided. Since his last win he has consistently been in the top 30. He likes this course and played well in the difficult conditions last year finishing in a tie for fifth. Strong E/W at that price.
Peter Baker 60/1 (BoyleSports)
Sometimes the price dictates things. 60/1 for Baker is an awesome price. The tournament host for the second time loves this track and performed solidly in his debut last year. A tie for seventh was his reward. Great E/W.
Gordon Brand Jr 500/1 (BoyleSports)
500/1!!! Must be a mistake there. Brand Jr finished alongside Baker in a tie for seventh last year. If ever there was an excellent price then it is this one. He enters following a top 20 finish at the Scottish Senior Open so hopefully will be in confident mood.
