Those of you who follow Golfhacker will know that we got a 2nd place finish in Dubai thanks to Andy Sullivan. He went one better with his tips on the LPGA as he correctly tipped Ha Na Jang to win the Coates to. So all in all a good week and plenty raised for his charity, The Movement Centre. It’s AT&T pro am this week at Pebble Beach with means the eyes of the world will be back on Mr Spieth and the great Bill Murray. Should be a great one. So here is who Golfhacker is going for this week.
Brandt Snedeker 14/1 (Ladbrokes)
Simply awesome at the moment (except of Phoenix) previous four results...3rd, 2nd, 1st and 33rd. Comes into this one as the defending champion too. Likes the course, on a roll and won in amazingly difficult circumstances. Great to see Sneds back on form. Enters this one as 4th Favourite according to the bookies.
Jimmy Walker 18/1 (Skybet)
Won this event in 2014 and is so far having a good start to the season. Two top tens and a 13th in January but will be itching to convert a victory. Lead the way until the bad weather that saw Snedker win. Looks good, looks strong and at 18/1 a pretty good price for a man who always does well at this time of year.
Phil Mickelson 22/1 (Betfred)
3rd, cut, 11th are Phil’s past three results on the PGA Tour. Don’t let that cut fool you...he is looking good and as a four time winner of this event knows exactly what to do. Could easily contend and looks like he has his game back after a disappointing end to last season.
David Lingmerth 80/1 (Boylesports)
Boyle are offering 80/1 and by far the best as Lingmerth’s odds range 50/1-80/1 depending on bookie. Amazed you can still get him at this price considering his 2nd place finish at CareerBuilders. Then again was cut from Phoenix which didn’t help. Brilliant when wants to be.
Paul Dunne 175/1 (SkyBet)
The most logical reason for Paul’s exceptional odds are that he’s the new kid. So new the PGA don’t even have a picture on his player profile. T 13 at Farmer’s, strong on European Tour and in terms of betting...an unknown quantity. Get him whilst he’s hot and at stupid prices like this...great Each Way.
