Suzann Petterson 16/1
Hyo Joo Kim 33/1
Minjee Lee 50/1
Morgan Pressel 80/1
Lee-ann Pace 80/1
Jenny Shin 125/1
The LPGA travels to China for the Blue Bay this week. Here is our 6 to watch out for.
Suzann Petterson will look to improve on her 5th place last week in Taiwan. She appears to have got the controversy of the Solheim Cup out of her head. Two Top 10's in a row and looking solid once again. It would be a brave person to bet against her when she is in this form.
It may be her rookie year on the LPGA but Hyo Joo Kim is turnng heads. The world number 8 is consistent. Only missing one cut all year with 16 top 20 finishes and a maiden Tour victory in her first year. She is impressive and could be a very good Each way shout at 33/1.
Another rookie playing beyond her years is Minjee Lee. The 19 year old Australian has been well tutored by Karrie Webb. 12 top 20's and like Kim, also with a Victory this year. She finished 10th in Taiwan last week...She should be up there again in China.
Golfhacker loves Morgan Pressel and will continue to urge her to win. At 80/1 she is once again at high odds but did play well in Taiwan. One bad day at the office cost her but once she gets it all together she can be deadly. 5 tops 5's this year and at 80/1 a good Each Way bet.
Another good 80/1 shot is Lee-Anne Pace. She is the reigning Blue Bay Champion. It has been a mixed year for Pace. When she is hot, she is really hot. However, when she isn't, she may not make the weekend. But, as defending Champion she will be confident.
Jenny Shin was T-14 last week in Taiwan. Once again she is priced at 125/1. A couple more shots and she would have paid out. Golfhacker was impressed by her. We'll take a chance on her this week as our outsider.
