With the top 30 FED EX cup players battling it out for the $10 million top prize, big names at the Porsche European Open are limited. Makes for a entertaining and surprising potential outcome.
Byeong Hun An may appear to have not done a lot since winning the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth but he is back since his missed cut at Whistling Straits. The South Korean is now in the top 50 following a win on the Asian Tour last week. The much fancied youngster is 23/1.
Maximillian Kieffer will fancy his chances here. The German currently at 31/1, has had 4 top tens this year without missing a single cut for the whole of 2015. Strong, consistent and reliable. He could have a good tournament on home turf.
Golfhacker loves GMac. Even though he may not be having a great season by his standards it is still hard to forget McDowell especially at these odds. Could be a heart ruling the head moment but this man is capable of the sensational from no one. Will be keeping a close eye on him on Saturday's moving day.
Tied for 3rd place at the Italian Open last week, David Lipsky will enter the Porsche with some confidence. Four strong performances in a row shows that Lipsky is knocking on the door.
The Veteran German should not be overlooked. Age is nothing in golf especially given that Langer himself designed this course. He is blitzing the Senior tour and another great showing at the majors. This man still has it. An outsider yes but still world class.
When Pavan is good he is very good. When he's bad he doesn't make the weekend. 201/1 reflects this but Golfhacker loves an outsider in the mix. If he makes the weekend he could pull of a shock.
