Brooks Koepka 40/1 2pts EW

Signing up to Coral gave me a £20 free bet. Seems a no brainer to place that on Jordan Spieth. The 22 year Texan is aiming to emulate another great Texan, Ben Hogan who won three Majors in 1953. With the Masters and U.S Open already under his belt plus a T-4th at the Open, he will be on the charge. I expect no let up from Spieth in his quest the match Hogan.
Jason Day is the nearly man of Majors. He is due one and Whistling Straits is a course that he can do well on. Accurate off the tee and long. However, unlike Dustin Johnson, Day has a strong short game. Winning the Canadian Open following his T-4th at the Open shows that he can bounce back from disappointment. Following a disappointing Bridgestone I expect Day to really challenge and maybe...just maybe...even win.
Danny Lee and David Lingmerth have really impressed me recently. Although Lee faltered at Bridgestone, he has shown that he is more than capable to break into the top 15 of a major tournament. Lingmerth, needs to limit his bad days in order to really contend. He has the game to place and at 100/1 is a great outside bet.
Kaymer won in the play off against Bubba Watson the last time this championship was played at Whistling Straits. His game has come up short so far this year but should not be forgotten. If he can get into a good position on moving day he can contend on Sunday.
So happy for Jason Day. Finally a Major Champion and a well deserving one at that. Plus a nice pay out for me to. Spieth pushed all the way but the shot lead from Saturday was too much to bring back against a hot firing Day. Brooks just made the top 6 for a nice EW payout.
