Well we nailed it at the Honda Classic as Adam Scott won by one over Sergio Garcia. He’s looking great at the moment and it was great to see Sergio back at the top following his missed cut the week before. Speaking of cuts...McIlroy missed it last week but still goes into the WGC Cadillac Championship at 8/1. Looking at past form at this event and current form going into it...here are the spivs ones to watch at the WGC Cadillac Championship. Some great odds here guys.
Bubba Watson 12/1 (BetVictor)
Already a winner on tour this year and will be looking for good form ahead of his favourite Major. Last year he came third, second in 2014 and 2012. Strong on this course according to the stats and reflected in his price. At 12/1 he is second favourite behind McIlroy.
Justin Rose 25/1 (Ladbrokes)
The Englishman odds appear to have slumped which is great for us. Best tee to green player last year...only needs to be hot with a putter to leave the field in his wake. Former winner back in 2012 so anything is possible as he aims for the Ryder Cup.
Henrik Stenson 28/1 (Bet365)
28/1!!!!!! Enough said really. You’ll be mad not to. The Swede has impressed since coming back from injury. 28/1 is unbelievable for a player of his quality. Came 4th here last year but with McIlroy struggling could be a great bet.
Louis Oosthuizen 40/1 (Betfred)
Finally got his first win in two years last week and will be looking build on that. Looks sharp. Came 6th here last year. At 40/1 looks a good Each Way bet and could even do better as confidence will be on his side.
Patrick Reed 45/1 (StanJames)
Ok he had a bad week at the Honda Classic but let’s face it, so did many. As for the WGC Cadillac Championship he has a proven track record and this year is looking in great shape. Won this event in 2014 and came 23rd last time out. This year looking stronger. At 45/1 for a past winner and on better form, the stats suggest a strong bet on this man.
Danny Willett 80/1 (BetVictor)
Willett is looking strong this season and already has a win under his belt. Can he do it in America though? Only played here once. Last year came 12th but already looking like a better player than this time last year. You won’t get a better price for him all year so best to make the most of it. Strong Each way bet here.
