We've been scratching our heads to find the best stocking fillers for under £20. Here is what we recommend for the golfer in your life this Christmas.
1. VICE Golf Balls. £16.99
12 high quality premium balls for only £16.99. Tell it it's true! Yep it's true alright. Vice Golf claim that their balls are just as good as Titleist at a fraction of the cost. This "selected" pack includes: - 3 golf balls VICE Pro (3-Piece Urethane)
- 3 golf balls VICE Pro Plus (4-Piece Urethane)
- 3 golf balls VICE Tour (3-Piece Surlyn)
- 3 golf balls VICE Drive (2-Piece Surlyn)
Having used them...we can safely say that they are well worth it. However, these are not available in shops (that's how they keep the cost down). No last minute dash for these beauties. Go to www.vicegolf.com for more information.
2 Devel Golf Pitchfork. £7.99
We love this here at Golfhacker. It is ace. Looks just like the devil's pitchfork itself. With a retail price of £7.99, which includes a branded presentation tin and ball marker, The Devel Pitchfork is the perfect gift for any golfer.
It's Devel golf's first product with the promise of "more on the way". Can't wait to see more.
This is something that will get all your mates saying "Where did you get that from!"...We Love It!!!
Available from www.develgolf.com
3. Rite-Line Smart Target. £19.95
As the winter months kick in, the chances to practice are few. Plus lets not forget Christmas day itself. With the Rite-Line Smart Target you can practice anywhere. The sticky pad on the mat will collect your ball if you hit the target. We reviewed the product back in October (we even gave some away in our first ever competition) and can say that it's brill. The Christmas holidays will be no excuse not practising with this great product.
Available from www.riteline.co.uk, Conwy Golf Club and Amazon.
4. One Putt by Ken Brown £18.99
It's Christmas so a book has to be in order right? Well here is somthing that compliments the Rite-Line Smart Target beautifully. Ken Brown's wonderful book is part autobiography and part instruction. He'll make you a better putter for sure! Well...he was pretty handy at it himself now wasn't he. A great read that keep your golf fan quiet...for once.
Available from all good book shops.
5. VICE Golf: Pure Glove. £10.99
Wow...what a glove. We described it on Twitter as "Possibly the most comfortable glove we've ever worn." Grips excellently, looks awesome and fits like a...well...glove. We don't really need to say any more really.
6. TeeCaddy. £9.99
We reviewed this little gem back in October. What a nifty little idea! Pitchfork, club cleaner and tee retriever all in one. A unique product that'll save you a bundle in tees. You can also take this to range and use it a shot alignment tool. This really is the Swiss Army Knife of golf accessories.
Available from www.teecaddygolf.com
7. "Dream On: One hacker's challenge to break Par in a year." by John Richardson.
We took this with us to the Solheim Cup and loved it. The story of John Richardson and his funny and truthful account to make par within a year. From his addiction to Ebay, to his imaginary "Seve" as his guide on the course. This is Rocky...only without the gloves, the ring and set on a golf course. With new year coming up...you might want to try a challenge of your own.
8. Ball Stamps £5.99 or 3 for £15
Put that Sharpie away...these ball stamps from stampyourball.com are fab. Over a hundred stamp designs to choose from. We were lucky enough to try them out and now we stamp all our balls with this. Dries quick to, a simply device to make sure that when you find your ball...you know it's yours!
