The Challenge Tour is the place to be in order to see the stars of tomorrow. This year’s schedule has been officially announced with one of the showcase events happening here in the UK.
The Bridgestone Challenge will be held at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa resort between September 7-10 2017.
Last season the Bridgestone Challenge was won in emphatic style by Thomas Dety. Dety took the title following an impressive 12 shot victory over the rest of the field and will be hoping for a repeat performance at Luton Hoo.
Matthew Long, General Manager at Luton Hoo said: “We are delighted to be hosting the 2017 Bridgestone Challenge this September. Golf is an important part of the hotel and we are proud to be part of this year’s European Challenge Tour schedule. The entire team at Luton Hoo are excited about the prospect of seeing our Championship golf course on the international stage and hosting the future stars of world golf.”
Blackstar Sporting Events will once again stage the event. Jeremy Robinson, Director of Blackstar said: “I would like to thank Bridgestone for their continued support and patronage. I would also like to thank our partners England Golf, who continue to back the event, and promote the Bridgestone Challenge to affiliated golf clubs in the area.”
Here at Golfhacker, we love the Challenge Tour and we can not wait for a little trip to Luton Hoo to check out all the action.
