We are playing at the British Par 3 Pro-Am. Here's our interview with playing partner, Ashley Mason.
Playing at the British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall, I have been given a real treat. Playing in the Pro-Am alongside Ashley Mason at 7.10am, it is fair to say that I got off to a good start. Bogey, bogey, Par...with a handicap of 18 is not to sniffed at. Then I proved exactly why my handicap is so high. Duff chips and poor putting led to a miserable six on the fourth hole.
However, you are only as good as you next hole. I nailed one onto the green at the fifth and fractionally missed his birdie putt. A par would have to do as the rain stopped play. At the time I was putting together a good round.
During the rain break, I decided to get to know Ashley Mason a little bit better. After all, there is still work to be done.
Here is our interview with the up and coming Ashley Mason. Remember the name...you’ll be hearing it more in the future we have no doubt.
With the rain delay, the tournament schedule has been changed. The Wednesday play will now only be nine holes. Ashley and I will have to start their round again. Bring it on!
